Birds on a Wire

I took this shot a couple of years ago at my son's baseball game. It was a really clear day, so when I converted it to black and white, the sky just disappeared, giving the photo a great ink print quality.   I absolutely love how the birds lined up so nicely for me.

Sherri and Coda

Had the honor of taking a few shots of this beautiful mom and son.  We spend a couple of hours roaming around a local park.  The day ended with poor Sherri falling into a steam.

Frost

Got up early this weekend to go to a tiny spit of overgrown land along a petroleum pipeline across from George Mason University.  Glamorous.  But of course there is beauty everywhere.  I love the softness and the color of the morning light.

Upsidedown bubbles.

I love taking pictures of bubbles.  I think it is because they are so beautiful and so fleeting.  These are Perrier bubbles in a glass in the sun.  I converted to black and white, then flipped  the image upsidedown.

Plus one

My husband had a formal event he needed to go to and took my neighbor as his plus one.  What a fun afternoon.  Got to channel a little Winston Churchill and a touch of James Bond in the process.
